Freshies Lobster has been serving fresh Maine lobster to Park City, Utah since 2009.  Freshies started out at the Park Silly Market and farmers market and have expanded into a food truck that serves Park City, Midway and Salt Lake City.  After seeing the demand for lobster rolls they have decided to open a cafe to serve the Park City locals and tourists year round.  

Owners Ben and Lorin Smaha grew up in the New England area.  Ben from Cape Elizabeth, Maine and Lorin from Lebanon, New Hampshire. Ben grew up surrounded by lobster boats and friends who were in the industry. He decided to obtain a license and teach this way of life to local youth, taking kids out baiting, trapping and harvesting. Students were rewarded at the end of the week with a lobster bake that they worked for. Lorin’s culinary background and passion for food has helped expand the businesse’s offerings and catering options.  

Freshies Lobster Co. is proud to provide the working waterfront with our business and give back to the great state of Maine and a tradition of sustainable practices. Freshies also believes in sourcing quality ingredients and uses local products whenever possible.
